Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) was established in 2015, with its library designated as the Learning Resource Centre (LRC). Over the years, it has grown into a leading management information centre nationwide, leveraging advanced technology to support its users. Our mission at the LRC is to provide easy and user-friendly access to up-to-date, global, and relevant information, catering to the diverse needs of the academic community at IIMV for teaching, research, consulting, training, and learning purposes.

As an integral part of the academic and research endeavours on campus, the Library is committed to offering state-of-the-art facilities and innovative services to support teaching, learning, research, and outreach activities. With a user-centric approach, library continuously design and deliver need-based information services.

The Learning Resource Centre serves as a hub for academic and professional knowledge resources, facilitating knowledge creation through electronic search platforms and access to a wide range of research materials both on and off campus. Our collection primarily focuses on literature related to Business, Management, and allied fields, aligning closely with the Institute's educational objectives.

The library holds a rich collection of printed and electronic resources, including books, journals, newspapers, e-databases, reports, case studies, and more. Subscriptions to electronic resources such as ACE Analyser, Business Source Complete-EBSCO, Emerald Insight, Elsevier Science Direct journals, among others, enhance our offerings. IIMV Library is fully computerized library using an Open-Source Software KOHA-LMS for its housekeeping operations.

To further assist users, specialized tools like Knimbus Federated Search, journal title search, remote login, Eikon Terminal and Kindle E-Book Readers Service are provided. Additionally, campus-wide access to digital resources is facilitated through subscriptions to e-databases and e-journals, allowing users to access library materials from their own computer terminals in real-time.
