The Media & Public Relations Cell of Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam serves as the student voice of the Institute to the outside world, representing its achievements, culture, and spirit across diverse platforms and audiences. Acting as the primary interface between IIM Visakhapatnam and external stakeholders, the Cell is entrusted with building, nurturing, and amplifying the Institute’s presence across digital, print, and social media platforms. Through strategic communication and creative storytelling, IIMV has established a strong and growing footprint across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and the student blog, reflecting the vibrancy and dynamism of campus life.

The Cell is also responsible for securing extensive media coverage for the Institute, reinforcing IIM Visakhapatnam’s standing as a premier destination for management education. From covering flagship events and student initiatives to documenting important milestones and achievements, the Cell plays a key role in shaping the Institute’s public narrative and strengthening its digital identity.

Further strengthening its contribution to the Institute’s ecosystem, the Media & PR Cell proudly organizes TEDxIIMV, a distinguished platform that brings together thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers to inspire meaningful dialogue and exchange of ideas. In addition to its media and branding responsibilities, the Cell also functions as the Admissions Committee during onboarding, serving as one of the first points of contact for incoming students. From facilitating communication with aspirants to fostering early engagement within the community, the Cell ensures a smooth and welcoming transition into life at IIM Visakhapatnam.

From capturing defining moments on campus to crafting narratives that resonate beyond it, the Media & PR Cell works to present the Institute with authenticity, creativity, and purpose.
