Operations is a key function across all organizations, spanning manufacturing and service sectors alike. Prakriya, the Operations Club of IIM Visakhapatnam, seeks to familiarize students with the fundamentals and practical relevance of Operations Management.
The club provides learning opportunities through competitions, industry interactions, live projects, and knowledge sharing initiatives. Students are introduced to areas such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Strategy, and Manufacturing and Service Operations.
With increasing interest in operations related roles, Prakriya works towards strengthening operations related learning at IIM Visakhapatnam by aiding students in their preparation for operations focused careers.
