The Sports Club of Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam is dedicated to fostering a culture of fitness, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship within the campus community. The Club organizes and manages a wide range of sporting activities, tournaments, leagues, and recreational events throughout the academic year, encouraging active participation and promoting holistic student engagement. Through its initiatives, the Sports Club strives to create an energetic and competitive environment that enhances both physical well-being and team spirit among students.
The flagship event of the Sports Club is Yuddhh, the annual intra-college sports tournament of the Institute. The event brings together students across batches to compete in various sporting disciplines, promoting camaraderie, healthy competition, and institutional spirit. The Sports Club also plays a key role in preparing and representing the Institute at prestigious platforms such as the Inter IIM Sports Meet, where students compete against seven other Indian Institutes of Management and showcase exceptional sporting talent and dedication.
Through its continuous efforts and initiatives, the Sports Club significantly contributes towards building a vibrant and inclusive sporting culture at the Institute.
