The Hostel and Mess Committee (HMC) is committed to ensuring a comfortable, inclusive, and enriching residential experience for the student community. The committee oversees hostel administration and dining services, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of accommodation, food quality, hygiene, and student well-being.
HMC manages key aspects of hostel and mess operations, including vendor selection, menu planning, infrastructure oversight, and the seamless functioning of residential facilities. To foster a sense of belonging and cultural inclusivity, the committee also curates special festive menus and celebratory meals on various occasions throughout the academic year.
Beyond administration, HMC plays an active role in nurturing a warm and community-driven campus environment. Its flagship annual event, Convivium, celebrates the spirit of togetherness through a vibrant Food Festival featuring external vendors, engaging games, and interactive activities that bring students together in a lively and memorable setting.
Through its initiatives, HMC strives to make hostel life not only seamless and efficient, but also enjoyable, welcoming, and truly memorable for every student.
