Understanding a Battery’s Environmental Footprint Across Its Lifecycle

We are pleased to share that a research paper co-authored by Prof. Nandan Kumar, a PhD graduate from the Institute (currently serving as faculty at FORE School of Management), and Prof. Milan Kumar, titled “Understanding a Battery’s Environmental Footprint Across Its Lifecycle: Should Governments Support the Development of Battery Management Systems?” has been published in Decision Sciences (ABDC: A*).
The paper, based on Prof. Nandan Kumar’s doctoral thesis, examines the economic and environmental impact of government subsidies for battery lifecycle management through the development of battery management systems in electric vehicles.
